We will cruise together to a little country town called Dookie. Population of 370 people.

Meeting at 1pm at Victoria Park Lake, 509 Wyndham St, Shepparton. Where the playground is. Park along Wyndham Street, left hand side (heading north towards Shepparton).
We will cruise together to Dookie (30kms / 27 mins)

Once we’re in Dookie, we will have an authentically original small town experience, you can choose to take a stroll down the main street of Dookie, taking in the sights of the Dookie Flowering Gum Art Installation, and the interestingly upcycled art on wheels the Dookie Nomadic Silos. This small community punches above its weight in the creative space. Get lost in the Dookie Emporium, which boasts an eclectic mix of antiques, furniture, collectables and militaria.

Red earth red wine – nestled on the side of the Dookie Ranges, Tallis Wines Cellar door has evolved to become Rye at Tallis Wine Bar. It boasts the most impressive views of the region, The Tallis Family have worked these lands for generations, with Richard and Alice evolving the wine production. From the aromatic and light sparkling viognier, to the rich and bold James Halliday rated ‘Silent Showman’ reds that reflects the deep red earth on which the vines are planted. Pick your favourite drop and enjoy a glass alongside a regionally inspired menu whilst overlooking the expansive easterly views.
Or you may wish to have lunch at a good old fashion country pub, the Gladstone in the heart of Dookie – the steak is always a hit, and lookout for the specials on the day.

At 3.30pm we all meet again together to cruise back to Shepparton which gives us plenty of time to get ready for our presentation dinner.
